Terms of Service

By using the KuyTools Chrome Extension ("the Extension") or the KuyTools website ("kuytools.com"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
- "KuyTools", "we", "us" — refers to KuyTools, operated by Stevanus Aditya, Kediri, Indonesia.
- "User", "you" — any individual or entity using the Extension or website.
- "License Key" — a unique activation code (e.g., KT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) that grants access to Pro features.
- "Subscription" — a paid plan (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime) that activates Pro features.
- "Device" — a unique browser installation identified by a device fingerprint.
2. License Grant & Usage
2.1 License Scope
Upon purchasing a Subscription, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension's Pro features for personal or commercial music production purposes.
License Limits:
- 1 License Key = 1 user
- Maximum 3 devices per License Key
- License Keys are not transferable to other users

Prices are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). International users may see USD equivalents for reference only; actual charges are in IDR.
2.3 Free Trial
We may offer a limited trial period (typically 1 day) with full Pro features. Trial codes are single-use and non-transferable.
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Share, resell, or distribute your License Key to third parties
- Use a single License Key on more than 3 devices simultaneously
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension's source code
- Circumvent the license verification or device limit system
- Use the Extension for illegal purposes, including copyright infringement
- Automate or script the Extension beyond its intended batch creation features
- Redistribute or resell generated prompts, templates, or Extension outputs as a competing service
Violation of these terms may result in immediate license revocation without refund.
4. Payment & Billing
4.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways:
- Duitku — for Indonesian users (QRIS, bank transfer, e-wallet)
- Lemon Squeezy — for international users (credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
KuyTools does not store your payment card information. All payment data is handled securely by the respective payment processor.
4.2 Currency
All subscription prices are denominated in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). International payments processed via Lemon Squeezy are charged in USD at the listed equivalent rate. Exchange rate differences are the responsibility of your bank or card issuer.
4.3 Activation
After successful payment, your License Key is activated automatically. If you experience activation issues, contact us at admin@kuytools.com.
5. Refund Policy
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are unsatisfied with the Extension, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date, provided the conditions below are met.
5.1 Eligible for Refund
- Request submitted within 7 calendar days of payment
- Extension has a critical bug that we cannot resolve within 48 hours
- Features described on the website are materially different from what is delivered
- Accidental duplicate purchase (we will refund the duplicate)
5.2 NOT Eligible for Refund
- Request made after 7 days from purchase date
- License Key has been shared with or used by another person
- User violated the Terms of Service (Section 3)
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated music output quality (this is outside our control)
- Changes in third-party AI music platforms or APIs that affect functionality
- User's LLM API key issues (e.g., expired OpenAI/Claude/Gemini credits)
- Failure to read feature descriptions before purchase
5.3 Refund Process
- Email admin@kuytools.com with subject "Refund Request"
- Include your License Key or Order ID and reason for refund
- We will respond within 2 business days
- If approved, refund is processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method
Upon refund, your License Key will be immediately deactivated.
5.4 Partial Refund
We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time. Subscriptions run for their full purchased duration.
6. License Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke your License Key without refund if:
- You violate any provision in Section 3 (Prohibited Activities)
- We detect fraudulent payment or chargeback abuse
- Your License Key is found in use by unauthorized parties
- You attempt to circumvent our licensing system
You will be notified via email before revocation, except in cases of fraud or abuse where immediate action is necessary.
7. Third-Party Services & AI Disclaimer
7.1 AI Music Platforms
The Extension interacts with third-party AI music platforms to generate music. KuyTools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any AI music platform. You must comply with each platform's own Terms of Service.
7.2 AI Providers
The Extension supports integration with third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) for lyrics and prompt generation. You are responsible for:
- Providing your own API keys for these services
- Complying with each provider's usage policies
- Any costs incurred from API usage
7.3 AI Output Disclaimer
All AI-generated content (lyrics, prompts, music) is provided "as is". KuyTools does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, originality, or legality of AI-generated outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using generated content.
8. Intellectual Property
- The Extension's code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of KuyTools.
- Music and content generated through the Extension belong to you, subject to the respective AI platform's content ownership policies.
- Prompt templates and built-in data included with the Extension remain the property of KuyTools.
9. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described therein.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- KuyTools is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Extension.
- We are not responsible for changes to third-party AI music platforms, APIs, or policies that may affect the Extension's functionality.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the current Subscription period.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain the Extension and related services, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:
- Update or modify features at any time
- Temporarily suspend service for maintenance
- Discontinue the Extension with 30 days prior notice via email or website announcement
12. Account Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it. To delete your account data, contact admin@kuytools.com.
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Kediri, East Java, Indonesia.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via:
- Updated revision date on this page
- In-app notification within the Extension
- Email notification for significant changes
Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
